ControlFunction
Play / PauseStarts or pauses the audio and the animation together
StopStops playback and returns the position to the start
Progress barScrubs to any point in the audio

Wave patterns

PatternBehaviour
HorizontalThe wave travels left to right across the grid
VerticalThe wave travels top to bottom
DiagonalThe wave travels diagonally across the canvas
RadialThe wave spreads outward from a central point
SpiralThe wave follows a spiral path from the centre
RippleCircular ripples spread from one fixed source
Random RipplesSeveral ripple sources run at once from random positions
SineA sine wave with a configurable direction

Settings

The control panel collapses out of the way and is grouped into sections.

Grid

ParameterEffect
Grid SizeDensity of the dot grid. More dots give a finer grain
Dot RadiusBase size of each dot
Scale EffectHow far dot size changes with the wave
SpacingDistance between dots

Wave

ParameterEffect
AmplitudeHeight and intensity of the wave
FrequencyNumber of wave cycles across the canvas
SpeedAnimation speed of the wave
DirectionAngle of travel, 0 to 360 degrees
Position DisplacementOffset of the wave origin

Radial and ripple patterns

ParameterEffect
Center X / Center YPosition of the radial origin on the canvas
Ripple Source CountNumber of simultaneous ripple origins in Random Ripples

Audio reactivity

ParameterEffect
ModulateSelects what the audio drives: amplitude, frequency, or speed
SensitivityHow strongly the audio signal affects the selected parameter
SmoothingHow quickly the visualiser responds to sudden changes in the audio
Frequency BandSelects the part of the spectrum that drives the effect: Bass or Treble

Colour

Dot colour follows audio intensity. Quiet passages render in blue tones and loud peaks render in purple tones.
