For volunteer tutors
Tutoring is unpaid. The site states that the service is always open to new volunteers.
Who can volunteer

Applying
There is no separate volunteer form. Volunteers use the general contact form on the home page.
- Open https://tpi.akn.org.uk.
- Scroll to Get in Touch, or select Contact in the navigation.
- Enter your name in Name.
- Enter your email address in Email.
- In Message, state that you are applying to tutor, the subjects you can teach, and your relevant experience.
- Select Submit.
All three fields on this form are required.
Alternatively, email [email protected] with the same information.
Do not use the form on the Apply page. That form is for students requesting tutoring.

Safeguarding
The site states that policies exist to protect students, that background checks are carried out on all tutors, and that sessions run on secure online platforms. No policy document, named safeguarding lead, reporting route, or check type is published.
The privacy notice states that personal information is shared with organisations the service needs to share it with for safeguarding reasons, and with emergency services where necessary.
